We are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership between Native and Agorthat will transform how users interact with native Bitcoin. This partnership will unlock a new wave of projects; multi-chain operations at the press of a button are coming to Bitcoin. As the Bitcoin ecosystem continues to grow with the rapid deployment of Layer-2 solutions and sidechains, there’s been an explosion in BTC variants (e.g. wBTC, etc.) across the network, leading to liquidity fragmentation and limited programmability. In the example diagram above, Bob, a user with BTC in his dWallet, wants to sell his BTC for IST. On the other side, Alice, a user with IST in her Keplr wallet, is looking to purchase BTC. Though the order of operations may seem overwhelming, this is precisely where Agoric Orchestration shines in its ability to coordinate numerous actions over a period of time. The goal? Easy access to native BTC in Cosmos.
